Retired professional photographer ,ex serviceman (RAF). I have travelled worldwide, considered very reliable, courteous and easy going. Organised and well groomed, can be trusted to carry out any tasks asked of me to the best of my ability. Very active for my age, I can cook well and am considered to be very clean in my residence. I can use all household appliances. I can tend to gardens and small general maintenance. I am quite a shy quiet person, but very easy to get along with and respect peoples privacy and will look after most pets very well and to instructions. I am a dog owner myself, she is 6 years old, a medium size golden German Shepard. Ella has been spayed. She is a very calm and sensitive dog, Preferred life style is eat, drink and sleep and is very well mannered. She is house trained and very obedient. We are house sitting at the moment with another dog, a young Old English Sheepdog, Ella is very sociable with other dogs too. (We have sat for 2 little Terriers before, and she was excellent with them) I would not hesitate at all with other animals she is that placid. When I had my studio, we did quite a few dog portraits, and she was fine with all other dogs and young children too. She loves regular long walks and is excellent on/off lead as well as on recall.

My other activities I like to do in my spare time is drawing and painting, and obviously photography. I have chauffeuring experience too, and am considered a very safe and passenger comfort orientated driver, knowledgeable of all UK and European roads.
I am available all year round, preferring longer stay appointments with some form of accommodation if not sitting in the main residence. I live in the Chichester area and would prefer the South west of England and not in a main city, but I am open to most offers and would consider other options. The photographs on my account (Yes, I do have hair :-) ) is myself in not to far a distance from my age, I am very camera shy, and the hairy wet one is Ella. I am a new applicant on House Sitters and having thought of this before, I am now ready to take on a new experience in life. I can supply references should they be required. * Please note: Due to the Pandemic (closed for 2 years) I closed my business in Hertford end of January this year, we just could not bounce back from this trading deficit. I have been staying at a friends home whilst he works away in Europe since then. It is a new large mobile home and we cannot receive mail here, so I use a PO Box in Chichester. This is a stop gap until I decide where I want to settle long term.(No Rush) We cannot be on the Electoral roll due to this.
