Dear Home Owner,
Thank you for taking the time to visit my profile. My name is Janet and I live in Hunwick a small rural village in County Durham. I'm an explorer who has lived in many parts of the world including Los Angeles, USA, Vancouver, Canada and Auckland, New Zealand. I recently just returned from Auckland in Feb 2023 after looking after two places over there both with cats for a couple of months.
I can provide homeowner references and a police check for your peace of mind.
I consider myself to be friendly, caring, kind and a considerate person.
I love dogs and have grown up with them. Mac a black and white Cocker Spaniel was with me from age 3 until he was 17 years old, when he passed away it was like losing my brother.
I am also familiar with the care of cats after all my house sits and love their independent and playful nature.
I will love your pets as if they were my own. I love walking and taking in nature, so a walkout with your pet is something we can both enjoy.
I am very house proud and would ensure that your home is maintained and stays exactly as you left it.
If you would like me to text you pictures or videos of your pets whilst you are away I am happy to do this and anything else you may require my assistance with, whatever puts your mind at ease whilst you are away.
I am a self-employed virtual assistant and graphic designer. Working online also means I would be home to look after your pets.

Janet was so fantastic. We met virtually at first and then as soon as she got to NZ we met in person. We know straight away that Janet would be perfect. She looked after our home and Olive the cat perfectly. Couldn't ask for a better house sitter. Highly recommend.
Janet was amazing! Communication with her before she came was very easy and she kept in touch with us while we were away including sending photos of our cat. We cannot recommend Janet enough. The first time we met her to meet the pets and show her the house, we felt completely at ease. We got the feeling she was house-proud and would treat our house as she would her own. She sent us text updates on the pets and pics. Left the house clean and tidy.

We had Janet house and pup sit for us when we went away and we had such a good time away knowing she was looking after Willow. She took such great care of Willow and our home and even sent a birthday message from Willow on my birthday. We got home to a very well kept home and very happy pup!
