I've done quite a few house sits through this web site and I have also house sat for friends and can supply references. The house sits included looking after a variety of animals from lizards to geese. I don't have any pets myself, but I always enjoy spending time with other people's animals - or doing some gardening.

I generally prefer house sits within 70 miles of Manchester, no longer than 4-5 days, although I'd also be interested in coming to London to visit my niece. And I don't usually arrange a house sit more than 3-4 weeks in advance.

Teresa looked after my cat and home perfectly fine. it was only a couple of days- but too long to leave Cookie alone- so I was very happy to have Teresa stay and keep Cookue company. Thanks Teresa x

As fate would have it, Teresa and I never met. I had a sitter lined up but he pulled out the day before we left to go on holiday. Teresa stepped into the breach and saved our holiday. The house was as we left it, and the courtyard's raised beds and pot-plants had been attended to. Cats were relaxed when we got home, too. All was well. Thanks Teresa.
