We are a recently retired couple who enjoy walking, cycling and exploring Great Britain.
Dave was a Mechanical Engineer and Marina Dockmaster and has just completed a 3 year building project at home.
Jan was in Retail Management and currently is a volunteer in the charity sector and enjoys cooking and entertaining friends.
We have had cats and various small animals but after the passing of our last 2 cats we took the decision not to have any more pets to allow us to travel more freely.
We both have experience of animal charity work, primarily cats and farm animals.
That said, we do miss our animals and feel this would be an excellent way to travel our country and incorporate a 'cat fix'!!

Dave and Jan were absolutely first rate house sitters and I wouldn't think twice about having them back to look after our lovely boy Patch. Excellent communication, flexible with arrangements, arrived on time and left the house neat and tidy. But most importantly they left us a happy, well looked after and cuddled cat which is what is the most important to us. Thanks again guys you are welcome back anytime!

It was lovely to meet David and Jan. They are a lovely couple. They did a super housesit for us and were obviously great cat lovers. We felt they would do a great job and were correct. Our cat was very well looked after.When we returned she almost did a double take as was expecting to see her new found friends! I was so happy Jan and Dave could come and stay with Bill, especially as they had experience volunteering cats with rescue cat. They were great in updating me of their travel plans in the lead up to the sit. They were very patient when I was running late on leaving and left my place lovely and clean. They kindly left a note of how Bill the cat got on during their stay. I really enjoyed meeting them and wish them all the best in future pet/house sits!
