We would consider it a privilege if you entrusted the guardianship of your home and beloved pets in our caring and capable hands.

We are a retired, active professional couple who have been together for 34 years since meeting in Bermuda. This is where Ian did his first house sit!

We both grew up in pet friendly homes and went on to have our own German Shepherd "Sheba" and Sheltie cross rescue dog "Brandy". Since their passing we have looked after friends and family's pets which developed into a more formal venture "Hounds at Home" for Ian when he took early retirement 7 years ago. Despite it's success we have now wound down the venture as we now wish to explore more of the U.K. whilst doing something we both love.

We are homeowners and registered landlords with references available on request. Ian is also a passionate and experienced gardener.

We are extremely flexible and are happy to facilitate pre-sit visits where practical and/or Skype chats.

We look forward to having the opportunity to discuss your requirements.

Carol and Ian are fantastic housesitters (and people!) My garden and allotment have never looked so good and my menagerie were clearly well-loved and cared for. The house was immaculate upon my return. I received regular messages updating me on how everyone was doing and I felt completely confident that my household and beloved beasties were in the best of hands. Carol and Ian are a lovely couple who were very friendly and clearly love animals. Both our cat and dog were completely chilled when we arrived home. The house was immaculate. Communication was very good between us, we were very happy to leave Carol and Ian in charge of Ozzy, Bellamy and the house. We would high recommend Carol and Ian and hopefully could ask them to do house-sitting again for us in the future.

We Had the lovely Ian and Carol to stay for a week to look after the house and dog and was so pleased! The arrange to arrive at our convenience so we could met and do a bit of a handover before we left which was helpful. The house was immaculate when we returned - even better than how we left it!! Carol and Ian cared for our 3 dogs, Chickens and guinea pigs fantastically. They were kind and courteous from our very first conversation and communicated with us brilliantly. Our pets were very content around both Carol and Ian and the photo updates were lovely, especially considering this was our first time using house sitters. Ian and Carol were excellent sitters for us. Poppy, our 14 month golden retriever, was very settled when we returned and clearly felt safe and well cared for. They were very thoughtful with her and showed their extensive experience from looking after a wide range of breeds. House lovely and clean., Communication and organisation fine. Would love to have them sit for us again in the future.
