We are an active, trustworthy couple looking for house sitting opportunities anywhere in the UK. In the past we have have had several pets including dogs, cats, rabbits, horses and chickens.
Following the loss of our 14 year old lab cross (Scamp) we decided to take a couple of years out from our house in Somerset to travel.
We are now available to house sit and are looking forward to caring for someone's pets as we can not have one of our own at the moment due to travelling.
Before retiring I worked as a Packaging technician for a global support company, my wife, Denise, worked for the NHS as a medical secretary. We are very active and enjoy travel, walking, kayaking, gardening, cooking and reading.
We are non smokers, hard working, conscientious and will respect the wishes of the homeowners in regard to their property and pets.
Having renovated properties in the past, I am capable of dealing with any problems that may occur in your absence. Whilst you are away we will keep you updated, as having been in the situation ourselves it is nice to know that all is well.
Extremely delighted with these lovely people. My dogs were so happy and they kept them to there routines.

The house was clean and the cats were happy. Communication was good throughout with frequent updates and photos.

Bob & Denise were lovely cat/house sitters. We could hardly tell they'd been in the house, it was so immaculate. Dexter seemed to bond with them and even brought them a little gift! They sent a couple of photos of Dexter to us which we always love to receive. We would definitely recommend them and willingly have them here again in the future.
This lovely couple went 'above and beyond'. They left my house not only spotless but also fixed an issue in the bathroom. And as for the care of my Gemma they sent me a lovely photo and were so considerate including making sure she would be OK between them leaving and me coming home as there was a gap between. I cannot recommend them enough. And am full of gratitude for them.
The loveliest couple - can't recommend them highly enough. When we returned the house was spotless ,with the bed changed and the lawn mowed! The dogs and cat were really happy. Many thanks, Nicky
A wonderful couple to have looked after our home. We would welcome them back any time.
Our dogs, rather than jumping around to see us when home jumped up to look out of the window to look out for them both leaving them!

Bob and Denise looked after our three huskies for a long weekend . They did a great job and we came back to very chilled huskies .. the house was lovely and clean . Would definitely Recomend !!
Robert and Denise were wonderful.
They arrived on time and were very friendly people. Within 5 minutes Denise had learned the names of our 4 dogs.
They took great care of the animals and our house. Dogs were walked daily and even visited some further away walks because they took them in their car.
Our dogs were not that pleased to see us, so I think they really liked having Robert and Denise to stay.
On returning home I think our house was actually cleaner than I left it!
