60, Chaplain

I'm ready to enjoy a year off work in 2023 and want to walk the UK. Tickets are booked and I'm ready for pet sits preferably of 2 weeks or more. I'm a Chaplain at Western Sydney University where, among many other things, I help international students feel at home by taking them bush walking, sight seeing and meeting the locals. I've looked after homes in Australia as well as in the UK (references can be supplied) and the owners have loved the care I've taken of their pets and property. I want to spend a year in the UK so I can do local walks (rambling) and experience a little of community life rather than the fast paced one tourist stop at famous places. Been there, done that. The best thing to do in Bath when the tour operator gives you an hour is to find the nearest tea shop with a view!

Christine is a very interesting woman who has had a varied career. She is an excellent house sitter, and good company if you cross over with her for a day or two as we did. Our house was well cared for and she even left us some home baking. Definitely recommend !

We couldn't have found anyone better than Christine to look after our house and garden. From the moment she arrived we knew that our house and garden were in good hands. Christine kept in touch throughout and sent us pictures of the garden whilst we were away. On our return the house was immaculate and the garden, hanging baskets and pots were just as we had left them. Christine was a joy to have as a house and pet sitter - she took great care of both. She took regular photos of our cats who were obviously at ease and happy and our house was immaculate when we returned. Christine even left us gifts! We would not hesitate to recommend her to others although you will need to book her quickly as she is only here for 2023. Happy travels Christine!

Thank you Amanda and Kevin, It was a pleasure to look after your house and the 4 Amigos. The only problem was when they were all sleeping in the afternoon, I felt the need to join them! They were such comforting presences. Christine
Christine was wonderful. Keeping us updated when we asked, happy to keep an eye out for Dexter (who went missing 2 days before) and any packages we had delivered. The house was spotless when we came back, with gifts and treats in the fridge and laundry done with clean sheets on the bed. Really appreciated this and definitely would have her to stay again!
