Hi there, we're Tom and Nicky and we're looking forward to looking after your home and pets :-)

We've both been living and travelling overseas for the past 15 years but moved back to the UK in early 2024. So far this year we've completed some thoroughly enjoyable house and pet sits in Streatham, Ealing, Claygate, Neasden, South Woodford, Wanstead, the Chilterns and Crouch End. We're always looking for next adventure and happy to provide references from official house and pet sitting websites.

We think house and pet sitting will be a terrific way to reconnect with parts of the country that we remember fondly and also explore other areas that remain unknown to us after all this time away. Our work is based mainly around London and west of London but it's likely to take us anywhere in the UK and Europe, so that's another reason why the nature of this sitting site is appealing. We love travel but we also love having a cosy, comfortable home base, so we hope this ticks all the boxes and helps other people in the process.

We're very house proud and have a glowing reputation among friends and family for how beautifully we've curated and maintained properties over the years, most recently in Melbourne Australia where Nicky (a true plant whisperer) created a garden brimming with seasonal abundance!

Over the years we've often found ourselves as pet sitters simply through word of mouth between friends and family, regularly providing a home for friends dogs who aren't keen on kennels, or looking after both home and pets while they're away. We've been regular cat sitters for months at a time while friends of ours tour with Cirque de Soleil, or for Nicky's brothers cats in London when he goes away. Wherever we've travelled and lived we seem to attract animals (as well as tending any available garden!), from beach dogs in Sri Lanka to the friendly cockatoos and kookaburras up at Nicky's dad's place in Australia. It's a treat to have a website like this as we are pretty nomadic and can't have a pet of our own at the moment, so Trusted Housesitters offers the best of all worlds :-)

We have immaculate rental history and would be happy to provide any and all references to demonstrate this. We're fastidiously clean and tidy and home is a sanctuary. We're lifelong early risers, ideal for morning walks and feeding. We're passionate about cooking, which goes hand in hand with our passion for travel and exploring new neighbourhoods. Between us we're also right into hiking, bike-packing travel, digging through record shops, live music, film making and cinema, photography, books, vintage motorcycles, painting and gardening.

We're always planning the next film project, so we're looking for places that provide us the privacy and space to work on our computers when not out on location or in the studio. We spend quite a lot of time working from home, we live by the calendar and scheduling is an everyday norm for us, so it will be easy to guarantee the needs of your pets are met and anything at home will be done on time - bin days, receiving mail, watering and so on.

While we settle back into life here in the UK, we think house and pet sitting will go hand in hand with our lifestyle and you can trust that we will look after your home and pets like they were our own :-)
