Friendly, courteous and sensible couple with many years of pet owner experience. We have previously owned horses, dogs, cats, sheep and chickens and not forgetting the odd guinea pig and goldfish or 2. Willow our horse made it to the ripe old age of 34, but sadly passed away Jan 2022. We'd had her since she was 3 months old. We've had dogs for most of our lives and greatly miss having them around (the last being a Dalmatian and a Patterdale Terrier) and we would like a few years of travel before we commit to some more four legged friends.
We are fit and healthy, non-smokers, keen walkers, love gardening and custodians of our 17th Century Grade II listed house.
We fully understand we will need to provide the highest levels of care and consideration required when you would be trusting your cherished possessions with us, our experience will mean you can relax and enjoy your time away knowing everything is in good hands.
Jane and Steve were the best! We could not have wished for better people to care for our beloved dogs. We received regular messages/updates/videos whilst away and felt completely assured that our canine kids were very happy. I would have no hesitation to 100% recommend these lovely and reliable people.
It was great to have Jane and Steve looking after our Golden Retriever for a week. They are very professional, thorough and conscientious. We would highly recommend them.
Jane and Steve were kind enough to do a 3 night house sit for me. They are very organised and made sure they knew all the details of how to care for the animals and the house. They checked on my horses, cows, small flock of sheep, chickens, dogs and cat. They did a great job, allowing me to be away and not worry at all about the animals or the house.
Jane and Steve were the perfect sitters. Communication prior to and during the sit was excellent and very reassuring. It was clear that Juno our dog absolutely adored them and I would be very happy to use this couple again in the future.
Jane and Steve were absolutely brilliant. Super communication beforehand, asked all the right questions. They were friendly and gentle and took onboard all the pet instructions from my children! They kept us updated with photos without bombarding us and left the house clean and tidy. Thank you so much!!
