Hello...We are a retired couple looking for new challenges and adventure. We have considerable experience between us in looking after properties, pets and people. We are conscientious trustworthy loyal and reliable. After house sitting across the UK for over 6 years now, we have helped many house and pet owners with their needs.
Neither of us is ready to take full-time retirement at this stage as we feel that we are still young at heart, physically active and have a lot to offer. At the same time as carrying out our house sitting duties, we are loving the opportunities this gives us to travel & explore the many diverse and amazing places which make up the British Isles.
We look forward to interacting with different cultures, being a part of and blending in with the local community as opposed to being tourists. We would love to look after your home and your pets as if they were are own, ensuring your peace of mind whilst you are away, specifically with security, maintenance where required and the overall care and attention for your pets and your property.

Richard and Elisabeth were excellent sitters. They took good care of Dexter and sent us some photos while we were away. The house was clean and tidy when we got back. I would certainly recommend them and would very much like to use them again sometime later in the year if possible.

They were happy to come down the evening before so we could have some time getting to know each other, and show them the house, garden and all things related to Freddie. This was our first experience of House Sitters UK and it's been great. We highly recommend Elisabeth and Richard as house sitters. We had good communication and a couple of video calls before the visit which was really helpful as, being experienced house sitters, they were able to put our minds at rest that we had left everything as needed (as we weren't 100% sure on what was expected). Elisabeth and richard were great and took care of our house and 2 dogs over christmas. I found their communication (pictures of the doggies:-)) brilliant and from the moment we left i felt relaxed the house would be taken care of. We returned to the house as we left it. For the week after our westie would still look for them in the guest room . Would definitely recommend them.
Elisabeth and Richard have been looking after my dog Jonas, my house and garden for over a week. We had time for a chat, before I left that evening and they made me feel very happy and totally relaxed to leave them in charge, while I was away. They not only looked after Jonas, taking him for walks, but also kept the house in perfect order for me to come back and the garden looked great, I can wholeheartedly recommend Elisabeth and Richard for any future house sitting.
Richard & Elisabeth were brilliant. Communicative, arrived when agreed and we enjoyed dinner with them the night before.

We were delighted when Richard and Elisabeth agreed to sit for us and our dog Pippa. We very much enjoyed their company during their stay the night before we left on our holiday, and Pippa immediately took to them both. They were keen to familiarise themselves with her routine and details about the house and local area. We knew she would be in good hands. On our return the house was clean and tidy, and Pippa was a happy dog.

We would like to thank Richard and Elisabeth, who looked after our two Norwegian Forest cats for a week while we were on holiday. They were very reliable, arriving and leaving at the times previously agreed. They left our home clean and tidy and communicated with us while we were away to let us know how the cats were doing.

Elisabeth and Richard looked after our black cat Django at our Hove flat while we were away from 15th June - 18th June 2018.
Our cat took to them immediately they arrived and was happy and healthy when we arrived home three days later.

Elisabeth and Richard were able to come for 2 weeks to look after our lovely old Border Collie, a rescue dog whom we have had for nearly 9 years. We enjoyed their company the evening before we left home, as did our dog, and we knew straight away that he and our house would be in safe hands.
They had to leave a few hours before our return, so we had arranged with them beforehand to leave the key with a neighbour. We came back to a very happy dog and a clean and tidy house.

Richard and Elisabeth looked after our house and house rabbit for 5 nights January/February 2017. It was our first experience having house sitters but they put us at ease. They arrived the night before as we were leaving early the next day, and had dinner with us whilst discussing the area and our rabbit's normal schedule. We had Elisabeth and Richard look after our two small dogs for two week. They were a pleasure to meet and instantly felt confident our dogs and house were in safe hands. Richard kept us upto date with emails on how the dogs were and also took delivery of items for us and let us know of their safe arrival.
When we returned the house was very clean and tidy and the dogs were in great shape.

Elizabeth and Richard looked after my home and my two dogs for me and I could not have wished for better sitters. My dogs were happy and well looked after. They watered my plants and the house was lovely and clean and tidy. I would highly recommend these two lovely people to do a great job.

Richard and Elisabeth recently house sat for us and looked after our 2 kitties, Bailey and Barney whilst we went to Scotland. They are both absolutely lovely people, and both the house and cats were very well looked after. The house was lovely and clean when we came home and both cats were happy and content. I would be more than happy to have them back here knowing that my 2 little babies are in good, safe hands. And also more than happy to recommend them for any future house sit :)

We left our large home near Oxford along with 3 precious cats in the care of Richard and Elizabeth for 5 weeks over Christmas and New Year. They proved to be excellent house sitters and coped admirably with unexpected heating problems and a leaking pond. They also kept us up to date with what was going on so that we were able to enjoy our holiday without any worries about the home front.
We would unhesitatingly recommend them.
Richard and Elisabeth were an utter delight, and we count ourselves exceptionally fortunate to have had them look after house and cats. They kept in regular contact, indulging our need to check how our beloved cats were doing.
