Semi retired having been in the film industry, a teacher and an estate agent. I now am a freelance writer and I am just about to have my first book published called Outrageous Rhymes. I lost my lovely Cocker Spaniel a couple of years ago and so decided as a single person to start looking after other peoples pets as I miss having one myself. I can sort out my own timetable and schedule so I am very able to fit in at the last minute.
Adore dogs and cats, walking and cooking so I cannot think of anything better than spending my time travelling around looking after pets - such fun!
I am very able, reliable and honest - nor am I phased by any issues that arrive so you can feel safe int he knowledge your home and pet is being looked after in your absence.
Vicky did an amazing job looking after our cat Max. It was during the heat wave and she ensured the house was cool so Max could be comfortable. Highly recommend Vicky if you are looking for a house/pet sitter!!
Vicky was an excellent sitter. Reliable and practical an able to take care of the house and look after our dog without needing much assistance from us.
The exceptionally hot weather was a challenge to keep our plants alive but thankfully she took time to water them.
Vicky is also responsive and communicates well and is very good with dogs, who know she is the boss.
Hope she may consider sitting for us again in future
Vicky house sat for us and looked after our cat and dog for 12 nights. We initially spoke over FaceTime which was nice to get some familiarity. Vicky kept good contact during the stay and it was clear that both fur babies were content on our arrival home. The house was absolutely spotless! Excellent Housesitter - highly recommended. Vicky took the time to come and meet me and the pets before we finalised the sit and despite a lengthy drive arrived just before we left for our holiday which allowed a quick reminder of things and brief handover. On our return our two dogs and cat we all very happy, content and had clearly been well looked after. The house was spotless too.

We had a video call with Vicky months before our holiday and and she was able to visit us to meet George before our departure which was most reassuring. Vicky kindly sent a message to let me know that George was safely in for the night, as requested. When we returned, George seemed chilled, the house was immaculate (with milk in the fridge!), indoor plants had been watered, outdoor birdseed had been filled. Vicky housesit for us for just over a week and I can recommend her very highly. We spoke in advance on FaceTime which was helpful. She arrived in plenty of time to meet animals and to familiarise herself with the house. She kept in touch during the week and when we got home it was to an immaculate house and very happy well kept animals!
This was my first experience using a house sitter but Vicky's excellent communication and reliable approach set aside any worries I might have had! We FaceTimed prior to meeting and then had an hour or so together before I left to go on holiday for 2 weeks. She recognised that my dog was getting anxious seeing the suitcases in the hall and immediately started playing ball to distract her. Vicky looked after our two dogs and cats for a week . We won't put them into kennels ,so for us having some one in our home was the best for us all . Vicky was wonderful and I think they are still missing her ! The house was left so tidy in our return . Vicky kept us updated on how the animals were . Jordan looked after my dog Maya for 2 weeks. Maya is a rescue and suffers from separation anxiety. Jordan handled all of this brilliantly and made a huge effort to make sure Maya was at ease. She also left the home in perfect condition. I would highly recommend her!
Vicky is a great House Sitter. My dog and 2 cats well taken care of. It was such a relief to go on holiday and not to worry about anything. I would definitely recommend Vicky.
Vicky has just stayed at our house for the past 12 days whilst we were on a family holiday. It was our first time using a house sitter and Vicky was very professional and relaxed and made us feel instantly at ease, we knew we were leaving our home and animals in her very capable hands!
We had regular updates on how our kitty's were doing and our home was left clean and perfect.
