We're a family of four who love nature and exploring the outdoors. As a couple, Jim and I began house sitting in 2016 and we have undertaken many assignments since then. Mostly, they are local to us and have arisen through word of mouth/ recommendations, but we enjoy having a base in a new area occasionally. Our girls are very young and super adaptable; house sitting is just a normal part of life for them and something they enjoy as much as we do.

Excellent help from Helen, who stayed with 2 small children and looked after house and pets very well. Good communications. Arrived promptly. Husband came to help in the evenings I believe (lived nearby). Recommended.

Finding a sitter was the main challenge for us to overcome to get away. Our location is quite remote and somewhat out of the ordinary so it was a relief when Helen contacted us and we saw she would fit the bill. Communication was free and frank in setting up the sit. We were a little unsure about having the small children along since the house is not child-proofed at all and the cats are generally not keen on kiddies. No rating Helen and Jim have just housesat for us and both of them were wonderful. Not only was the house and our animals cared for beautifully they were both lovely. I felt very happy leaving them in charge whilst I was away. I cannot recommend them enough!

No rating Helen was absolutely brilliant for us as a house sitter. We have just arrived back and everything is in order and calm. She looked after our elderly dogs with great care, and managed our quite complicated set up with free range chickens, polytunnel seedlings etc. The house was beautifully clean and tidy. And Helen is also a lovely person! I would definitely recommend her.

No rating well Helen and at the weekends Jim exceded all our expectations...we came back to a lovely tidy house and all the animals very chilled and happy. As a housesit we are quite a test. I actually breed British shorthair cats so have 4 that live outside and have another 4 youngsters that live in the house and conservatory...l was alittle worried that the cats wouldnt come back in when let out but it is a testament to Helens lovely quiet and gentle manner that they were quite happy to come back ...
