I am an experienced home exchanger, 28 to date and very frequently I have looked after pets, cats, dogs, fish, indoor and outdoor birds etc. during my stay as well as collecting post and taking care of watering plants etc. My first experience of house sitting was when an exchanger in Manhattan invited me back to sit for them about 15 years ago. This was followed a few year ago by another exchanger asking me to return and house sit for them in Central America.
Shortly afterwards I joined Housesitters and have completed over 10 house sitting assignments to date.
I feel I have the know-how to take care of things for you while you are away on your holidays.
I will happily keep you up to date on progress on the home front by email or otherwise while you are away, or just take care of things for you in your home while you are enjoying your break away.
I will happy to answer questions you may additionally have.

We were delighted that Adrian replied to our request for a house and pet sitter. He is a gentleman and took really good care of our home and our dog Toby. Toby certainly seemed happy and our home was spotless on our return. Communicatrion was good throughout our trip. We had the pleasure of meeting Adrian and he was kind enough to stay on the evening we arrived home to greet us and do a handover. We can highly recommend Adrian if you are looking for a sitter. Adrian is very attentive and accommodating to our house and pet care needs. He managed our two boisterous dogs with ease. We cannot thank you enough for looking after our dogs while we were away. We will be more than happy to have you back at any time. Adrian left the house very clean and tidy for us coming home. Highly recommend Adrian as a house sitter.

Adrian did a wonderful job looking after our home and our two cats. On our return, the house was exactly as it was as when we left and our cats were both healthy and happy. Adrian was very reliable and we felt very much at ease leaving him in charge of our place. He was very accommodating of the 'quirks' and 'perks' of all that goes living with hunting cats and rural country life . We would welcome Adrian back to look after our home again.

Adrian did a brilliant house sit for us , we had left for our holiday before he arrived so the hand over was left to our daughter , he is certainly an experienced house sitter as this was not a problem to him . On our return the house was clean and tidy and our pets all happy . I would be delighted if Adrian sat for me agin :-D
