Claire has been a regular house sitter for us since we retired in November 2018. We have lost count of the number of house sits Claire has done for us over the last 4 years anywhere from 1 week to 3 months at a time. Claire looks after all aspects of the security and maintenance of our large Georgian townhouse including overseeing various tradespeople working inside and outside the property. Claire looks after all aspects of the security and maintenance of our large Georgian townhouse including overseeing various tradespeople working inside and outside the property. Claire always stays in regular contact while we are away and it is such a comfort and reassurance to know that our 2 cats are always so well cared for - in fact, they love having her stay! Claire also helps my elderly sister with groceries and running errands. We can't say enough about Claire she is 100% reliable, trustworthy and honest and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend her as a sitter.

Claire was a godsend when we went away this year. She looked after our house as if it was her own and cared for our two dogs with love , patience and kindness. She sent me videos to show they all getting along to put my mind at rest. Left house immaculate. I would highly recommend her to anyone thinking of using a house/pet sitter.

Thanks to Claire for being our first ever housesitter. She made the entire process worry-free. The dogs and bunny were well cared for and saved us a lot of worry about having to consider sending them to kennels (one is blind and therefore would have struggled in a new environment, so having a housesitter was essential for us). She left the house immaculate and was very respectful of everything. Will look forward to having her again in the future.

Claire has now sat for us on 4 occasions, from 3 to 6 weeks each time. We are very happy to ask her to return, she communicates well and our cats love her, in fact one of them briefly looked disappointed when we returned. That is reassuring for us as we know they are happy and well cared for.
We unfortunately had some items stolen from a shed, Claire kept us well informed, sending photographs, information and replacing items and buying a lock.
We highly recommend her as a sitter:))

Clare arrived before the sit dates which was great for handovers and for us to meet her properly. She was keen to know what worked for Tippex and what hadn't worked/or worked well with previous sits. She was also keen to help us with the lawns without asking. Clare was very efficient and did what was needed without fuss. She kept in touch throughout the sit and sent us some photos. This was a long sit for us 6 weeks and we felt no need to worry whilst we were away and fir the full duration ... Claire was on a sit close to us (her 3rd time with the same family), so we managed to meet up a couple of times before we went away. Claire has a lovely calm manner and Poppy took to her instantly. We were given regular video /photo updates and we came home to a tidy, clean house with the bedding and towels all washed. Poppy was a happy cat and we would not hesitate to ask Claire to look after Poppy again.

I don't understand where Claire's great reviews have come from. I will never trust a house sitter again after having her come to stay. She has damaged my sofa, broken a blown glass serving bowl, I have 2 other glass bowls missing and she melted the handle on a chef's knife and tried to hide it by throwing it in the recycling bin - also dangerous because the refuse collectors here sort by hand. We would not hesitate to recommend Claire as a house and animal sitter. Claire came to stay with us a few days before we went away, as we had plenty of room, and it was a great chance to get to know her and for her to know us.
Our cat was instantly besotted! It was a new experience for us to go away and feel so relaxed knowing that our home and cat were in great hands. Claire is intelligent and nice to be around, and is super clean and tidy. She was so kind in the house and even left it ... MOREWe would not hesitate to recommend Claire as a house and animal sitter. Claire looked after our 2 cats whilst we were away on holiday for two weeks.
It is the first time we have used a house sitter and we were so impressed with the service Claire provided and wouldn't hesitate to call her up again in the future.
Upon arrival from our holiday the cats were happy and the house in immaculate condition.

Claire was a fantastic house-sitter and put me at ease from the start. She looked after Jack our cat really well and kept us up to date with photos and messages so we didn't worry about him at all. Great communication and a really lovely lady. She was also very flexible about my holiday timings which I was very grateful for.
Having not used house sitters before I was very reassured by Claire and would welcome her back into our home anytime, She left everything spick and span.

Claire looked after our 2 cats and plants beautifully - the cats were relaxed and happy on return, and even some previously problematic scratching behaviour seemed much improved!
Communication was great from the outset, and we also received welcome pics of the cats while away. We are very grateful to Claire for the wonderful experience of being able to go on holiday knowing that the cats would be very well taken care of!

Not for the first time Claire has taken great care of our home and more importantly Maud and Wilf. Coming back to a clean, tidy house, two very contented cats and a very tasty supper was much appreciated. I would recommend Claire to anyone looking for a house and pet sitter. Although I felt a bit sad leaving my pet cat for three weeks, I felt confident that she would be looked after well. Claire left my home clean and tidy, and my cat happy.

Claire is a lovely person. She took care of my cat George, and my home, for a month whilst I was away recently. As soon as I met Claire I could see what a cat lover she was, and I knew that George would be in good hands. I was able to go away and not stress at all about the house or George and Claire kept me up to date with pics, so I didn't miss him too much. Claire looked after my cat and house for over three months this spring. Everest was very happy and well looked after, and she did a great job of keeping the house clean and tidy. She also looked after a visiting dog for a night or two.
