The perils of a distance relationship ...

I normally travel to East Yorkshire and look for someone to housesit for me in London. Now we're trying it the other way round.

We adopted a foreign rescue dog a while back and have not as yet left him with a sitter. He's absolutely gorgeous but not yet good on the lead and a bit hyperactive. We generally only let him out into the yard and garden. So, "sitting" really wouldn't require a lot. He is used to be left alone for several hours every day.

We'd love to find somebody local who wouldn't mind sitting him on the odd occasion, i.e. long weekend. We've not as yet made plans for 2021. Ideally, it would be a single person, just because of the space in the house.
(Please note that it's not in the centre of Driffield but in one of the surrounding villages.)
