We have a Cavachon (Maisie - 10 years old, blind and epileptic), a Beagle (Ruby - 12 years old, arthritis), and a lop outdoor rabbit (Gizmo - 1 year old). We are looking for a house and pet sitter. Dogs don't require walking due to blindness and arthritis - we adjust their calories so walking is not needed - they also don't really like it all that much anyway and you end up carrying Maisie after a mile maximum. But if a quick mile somewhere tickles your fancy, they can handle that, but Maisie hasn't been walked since she's been blind, other than to the groomers, so I'd expect her to be anxious and needing lots of guidance and help. Her epilepsy is minimal. She rarely has full seizures, but when she does it’s easily managed. She does have some absences rarely which often result urination somewhere.
We have a guest room with double bed and large garden. Our street is a quiet horseshoe with plenty of parking. There is a local nature reserve very nearby for a quiet walk, but the town is also just as close and Birmingham City is a mere 20-minute drive.
