We are a semi retired couple and we live in a beautiful village Singleton village it's between Preston and Blackpool We have 4 dogs 3 cocker spaniel and one is a Jack Russell the 2 cocker have kennels outside, one of them come in the house at night for a bit of company he’s 11 yrs old they are happy just in the garden it is a big garden. The Jack Russell lives in the house she is a quiet miniature, they are happy to go for a walk but are also happy to have the run of the garden, they are clean dogs they will not dirty their kennels. The cottage is 3 bedrooms large bathroom, large kitchen and conservatory fully central heated Wi-Fi Netflix and prime video we are close to all amenities smoking outside please
We had a lovely time with George, Lilly and Betty who were all well behaved. The three were very friendly and enjoyed lots of cuddles. We had some lovely walks with them. Sue and Peter were very welcoming when we arrived and had a good chat about what routines were in place. We would recommend them to any future house sitting.
This was our first ever house sit and what joy it was. We talked to the lovely Sue and Peter several times before we travelled to them and their very relaxed and trusting attitude made the preparations very easy. We arrived to a lovely house and gardens in a delightful small village and were made to feel very welcome by Sue and Peter. The dogs (Betty, Lily and George) were adorable. We had a comfortable stay in Singleton with Lily (snuggles on the sofa) and George (very energetic zoomies round the garden 😀). There are lovely countryside walks from the doorstep which we really enjoyed. The lovely weather also meant we could enjoy the large beautiful garden.
The local peacocks made themselves known which was entertaining too and we visited the super cute alpacas.
Would recommend this sit to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.
We met Sue & Peter just before they went away, we were shown the doggie routine which was very simple even with five dogs, All the dogs have been very well trained and were so easy on, we soon got to know their quirky characters. Lovely country walks from the house and the house itself is super comfortable with a great outdoor area and garden , this is a sit you could do without a car, excellent public transport links with the bus stop just 20m away. Highly recommended.
All the dogs were a pleasure and full of joy. We even got to feed their alpacas!
