Derby England

I live in a ground floor flat in a lovely suburb called Mickleover which is about 3 miles from Derby. My flat has underfloor heating and there’s no cold spots, also two double bedrooms.
There’s an excellent bus service and the bus stop is just 100 yards away. There are 5 pubs within 150 yards and a nice little parade of shops. A chip shop, Chinese, post office, bakers, barbers, Charity shop, opticians and furniture shop. So something for everyone lol.
If driving away from Mickleover there are green fields and the countryside.
I have two Shih tzus, Bernie is 10 and very sweet and loving, Murphy is four and can be a bit of a naughty boy. I got him at five months old and he missed being socialised, other dogs, having a walk. So if you’re on a walk with him he’ll probably start barking at other dogs, I’m still trying my best to get him out of it but it’s very difficult. He’ll be barky with you at first but mention ‘treat’ to him and he’ll soon stop. Then he’ll be your little shadow and will be glued to your lap or at your side and be very sweet and loving.
I really would like someone who loves dogs and I don’t want them left on their own for more than 2/3 hours max. They’re both house trained. I’m retired and they are used to being in company. They sleep in my room with me. They are both too little to jump up onto the bed so if you don’t want them on the bed with you, don’t pick them up.
I would like them to have a short walk in the morning, they don’t need a hike and are more interested in sniffing.
My twin sister lives around the corner and also my daughter lives down the road and I’ll leave you their numbers.
I’ve only got a small strip of a garden and it doesn’t require any looking after.
