Annabelle and James were most helpful in communicating with us, very hospitable in their welcome, and their home is in a quiet and tranquil part of the country. We walked every day with their dogs (and one of their cats!) along undisturbed local lanes and enjoyed their company immensely. Highly, highly recommended.

A wonderfully relaxing sit in a gorgeous location looking after gorgeous pets. The house and garden are amazing with open views and loads of country walks straight from the door. Paddy, Hebe and Apple were all a delight. All were well behaved and very loving. Hebe is a calm loving girl and Paddy is an amazing character; a real distinguished gent who loves cuddles. Beware the big eyes that are impossible to resist. Apple the cat is super affectionate and also loves fuss. I came away feeling ... Communication from Annabelle was efficient and friendly both before and during the sit. I would be more than happy to come back for another sit anytime.

The house was fantastic in a chocolate box village, surrounded by fields and estates. Never having got to know any lurchers before, I was not sure as to their nature. Paddy and Hebe were both delightful, Hebe was gentle and sweet, Paddy, the younger one, had a devilish air in his eyes that quite won you over and was loveable and well natured as well. We spent two lovely weeks at Bramble Cottage. The two dogs Diesel and Hebe are very affectionate, playful and easy to manage as were the cats. The place itself is a real pleasure to stay in- quiet and very comfortable. The village is pretty and the countryside around stunning. You definitely need a car as the nearest shops are a few miles away. Communication with Annabelle was very straightforward and easy throughout. A wonderful experience all round.

We had such a lovely time housesitting for Annabelle and family. They were very generous, lovely people to sit for. Ashmansworth is beautiful and the animals were all perfect, no trouble and a genuine pleasure to spend time with.
