We live in Highworth a beautiful old market town , 3 miles from The Cotswolds and 6 miles from Swindon. We live in a lovely bungalow which is very comfortable with a small garden.The bungalow is in a quiet area of Highworth, but only a short walk to the town centre. We have 2 dogs Poppy an 11 year old mongrel who was a rescue dog and Bertie a 4 year old French Bulldog. Both dogs are very affectionate and have great personalities. We would like the dogs to have a nice walk twice daily. Unfortunately due to Bertie's little legs he likes a nice walk, but not a marathon!!
We live in a lovely area near open countryside with many walks very close at hand. Poppy and Bertie can also be left for up to about 4 hours at a time.
We would like someone to come and look after the bungalow and Poppy and Bertie while we are on holiday in the Winter.
We have had dog sitters several times before and everything has always run very smoothly. It is lovely to have the peace of mind that the dogs are comfortable in our own home whilst we are away.
Highworth offers a selection of pubs and restaurants, a couple of supermarkets, a doctor's surgery, a sports centre and all the amenities you need within walking distance. The bus service is excellent and runs several times per hour between Highworth and Swindon.

Whats not to like? Two very different and characterful dogs.. The house is comfortable and easy to keep clean. Shops and the town are very handy. Inobtrusive neighbours. I'd go again at the drop of a hat.
We had such a lovely stay at Annie and Rob’s home. The village is friendly and very peaceful. We absolutely adored Bertie and Poppy and looking after them was such a lovely experience. The house was comfortable and we enjoyed the garden with its abundance of flowers. Would highly recommend a house sit here.
We had a wonderful time taking care of Bert and Poppy, they are the sweetest pups who love giving and receiving lots of affection. Annie and Rob were excellent to communicate with and so lovely, their home was so comfortable and the town a beautiful place to be, and so much to explore being so close to the Cotswolds. We will miss Bert and Poopy a lot but hope to see them again in the future! <3
Bertie and Poppy were lovely dogs to sit for, with tons of character. Bertie was adorable and loved lots of cuddles, whilst Poppy loved to go for walks and sniff everything. Annie was great, ensuring I had everything needed and kept in touch throughout. The house was very clean and in a lovely small town with plenty of shops and countryside to explore. Would definitely recommend them for future sits.
I have had a wonderful time with Bertie and Poppy, who are very well behaved, loyal and very affectionate dogs. Little Bertie loves being cuddled and stroked and would follow you most of the time. He is crazy about playing and bringing back his toys you throw. Poppy is about 9 year old, emotionally intelligent, independent, but also love being stroked. She will need more time to know you before she trusts you. She enjoys her walks very much and would make some happy noises when you use the word ... MORE
We had a great stay in Highworth. Rob and Annie were very helpfull and welcomed us into their home which is cosy clean and comfortable. They gave us good tips on where to go and clear insructions for the dogs and plenty of food for them.
