Colchester England

We are going away for 4 nights in June and are looking for an animal lover to care for our furry family. We would like somebody who could spend most of their time at the house spending time with our 3 needy cats!

The cats are Mimi (21 years old), Lenny (5ish) and Wilomena (3ish). Mimi is diabetic so she requires an insulin jab twice a day after her breakfast and dinner. This sounds daunting but she is very well behaved and doesn't even feel it. She also requires alot of company and loves nothing more than sitting with us on her sofa next to the radiator!

Lenny and Wilomena are more independent and just need food and a bit of company.

We also have 4 chickens (Twiggy, Betsy, Peggy Sue and Clementine) who are very little work. They require food and water top ups as necessary and letting out in the morning and locking up in the evening. In summer they are free to roam the garden but only when supervised as we do get foxes!

Two Guinea pigs (Peach and Fuzz) only need their food and water topped up and a hamster (Bungo) needs the same.

We live in an early 20th century semi detached two bedroom house with a decent garden, situated on a quiet side road in the village of West Bergholt. Colchester City is 10 minutes by car or bus. There are plenty of lovely walks in the area, with the Essex Way footpath passing through the village.
