Manchester England

We live in a quiet, exclusive street in Worsley, Salford The house is a dormer bungalow with gardens to front and rear. We recently inherited the property from elderly parents so things need updating but it is well furnished. There are 2 bedrooms, bathrooms with toilet and shower upstairs and downstairs, a TV sitting room, kitchen/utility room and a large lounge.

Access to the M60 motorway is just a few hundred yards away. Unfortunately it is a busy junction and very congested during rush hour.

Local supermarkets are in Walkden, a couple of miles away. There is a small Co-op store nearer but it is around a mile away, 20 minutes on foot. The Trafford Centre shops are about 3 miles away. Manchester is about 20min by car via motorway. But to avoid parking charges, we get into Manchester city centre by driving to the free Park and Ride on the A580 and taking the bus into town.

Our dogs are: Jenny, a beagle age 16; Chip, a collie age 13 and Ben, a shi-tzu age 9. Unfortunately, Chip has been under vets investigation because he has been weeing and pooing overnight in our tiled kitchen. Recently this is much improved but he has occasional lapses. We need to let him in the garden fairly regularly.

We have access to extensive woodland walks at the top of our road, so you and our dogs can enjoy their walks.

We have a dog walker in the morning, we will only retain him for our holiday if you wish. The dogs are also used to walks in late afternoon and night..

Our cat, Sophie, is nervous and Ben will chase her if she ventures downstairs so she spends most of her day upstairs. She appreciates attention when we get a chance.

Because of their age, Sophie, Jenny and Chip are on daily medication.
