We need a house sitter

We are looking for a lovely house sitter (or retired couple) to come and stay at our home in Abbots Leigh. Abbots Leigh is a tiny village surrounded by beautiful woodland walks and with a fantastic pub & cafe, 'The George Inn' & Bike Shed are only a few minutes walk away. Fabulous location close to Leigh Woods, Ashton Court & Abbots Leigh Ponds - beautiful walks, great for bird spotting and fantastic mountain bike trails right from the house.

If you are more interested in city life - we are only a 5 minute drive over the suspension bridge into Clifton. Buses go into central Bristol - bus stop is at the end of our lane.

We have two gorgeous, well behaved dogs - Chewie and Zubi. Chewie is 5 and Zubi is 3. We have lots of walks from the doorstep so no need to take them in your car unless you want to. They are super friendly and will take as much love as you can give! Only demands are two walks a day and being fed and petted! We would prefer retired couple or someone on a break from work.

The house - we live in a lovely 4 bedroom house on a quiet road with great neighbours. There will be clean bedding & linen in the spare room for you - we would love someone that will leave the house as tidy and clean as they find it.

Would prefer to meet house sitter in person prior to house sitting if possible.

Chewie & Zubi were lovely to look after, both of them have such sweet natures! They are high energy & a lot of fun to be around. We really enjoyed taking them for daily walks/runs in the local woods, we really loved the local area. We found Jessica's home comfy & cosy & it was so nice relaxing in the lounge with the dogs in the evening! Jessica was easy to communicate with & we would recommend her to other house-sitters! Had a wonderful housesit last week. Excellent and clear communication before and throughout the sit with the owner. I really enjoyed staying in this beautiful house surrounded by lots of lovely walks. Chewie and Zubi were the most charming boys, very well behaved with excellent recall on walks, very relaxed when at home and both loved affection and cuddles also. Missing the boys already! X

We really enjoyed staying at Jessica's house in Abbots Leigh. The house has all the amenities one might need and has only just been renovated. The dogs, Zubi and Chewie are fun and well-behaved (although Zubi likes to run off occasionally to chase squirrels). The area is green and quiet and there are some great walking trails around, so no shortage of places to take the dogs. Communication with Jessica was easy and all our questions were answered immediately. Overall very good experience
