Beautiful modern-ish rural Dorset home with a 5 year old male Whippet on the boarder of the Dorset AONB. 20mins drive (or train ride) to the sea and to some well known local wild-swimming spots. Immediate access to long walks and hikes around the Dorset countryside and ridgeway. Enclosed back garden (including a hammock!) and outdoor dining area. The only garden maintenance is a very small vegetable garden for watering (help yourself if you're here in veg season) and lawn that may require mowing.
2 bedrooms available (one twin/king with family bathroom, one twin with ensuite) available. House also has large kitchen, dining room, outdoor patio with dining area, Living room with smart screen TV, and an upstairs snug/craft room., which can also function as a study if you work remotely.
Cookie is a lovely calm whippet, who loves walks and cuddles but is scared of water. He's very friendly with gentle children and adults and good with most other dogs.
Communication with Leila was good. Cookie was quiet for the first night, but once he had accepted us he was very loving and friendly. He took us on some lovely walks, seeming to know his local area extremely well. Thank you, Leila, we really enjoyed your home and village.
Leila was really welcoming and kindly made lunch for us ready for our arrival. She took us for a walk around the neighbourhood and was available with any questions we had whilst she was away. Her Whippet Cookie was such a sweet dog and we miss him already! Her home is in a great location and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
