A little bit of a background.

We (Mariken and Steve) are a middle aged couple. My husband has retired early for health reasons. I am still working full time from home. So there is WiFi connection available and office space.
We live in a (my opinion) lovely three bedroom house in a quiet suburban area.
There is private parking space available for two cars.
We have a large Morrisons 10 minutes walk away. The town centre is approx. half an hour walk away. There is a lovely nature reserve 5 minutes walking from our house. Besides that, there are many areas for walking within 10 minutes drive distance. We also have a leisure centre with indoor swimming pool within walking distance.

The Cats

We have two indoor only cats. Under no circumstance can the cats be allowed outside.
The youngest cat (Kittie) has Chronic Kidney Disease and mild Manx syndrome. The eldest (Piewie) has Irritable bowl syndrome. They both have dietary needs and a rather strict feeding regime 3 -4 times per day.
The cats are used to having people around for most of the day so we prefer someone who can be at home or work from home or is retired. They can be alone for a few hours (up to 6)
Unfortunately we have not tested out whether the cats can deal with other pets (except guinea pigs and that was no problem as long as they stayed in their cage). So we do not dare to have other pets in the house.

During the winter we do not need any garden care. In the summer watering the garden (if needed) would be highly appreciated.

We would like to meet interested cat sitters beforehand, either in person or via Zoom.

We would love to welcome you in our house and Piewie and Kittie will be thrilled to meet you.
