We need a house sitter

South Western Scotland - City of Glasgow

Natasha & Donald

Hello,

We have a house close to Glasgow City centre and are looking for 2+ people (e.g. a couple, friends, etc.) to house-sit and take care of our 7yo Scottie boys Hamish & Andy while we're away.

Our house is walking distance to Glasgow Green and the City Centre or a 2min walk from Bridgeton Train station. There is private parking for up to 3 cars or a caravan if required as well as ample street parking. Upstairs we have a double bedroom, bathroom, office, and a spare bedroom/office. Downstairs we have a double sofa bed in the living room, a kitchen/dining area and back garden with patio pergola. We kindly request no loud parties out of respect for our neighbours but small gatherings are no worries.

The boys are well-behaved at home, we let them out 4-6 times a day and they are fed in the morning and evening. They are fairly independent and are fine being left alone indoors for hours with no issues. On nice days they can be left outside quite happily. We recommend having one dog per person on walks as they can get very excited.

If you have a disclosure Scotland certificate or similar that would be ideal but in lieu of any formal checks, a pic of proof of ID will do.

Please let us know if you're interested and a bit about yourselves.

Best wishes,
Natasha & Donald

Natasha and Donald are lovely people, house nice and cosy, dogs absolutely adorable, very close to Glasgow attractions, did lots of sight seeing. Great location, local shop close by. Had a lovely handover before they left, all info needed. Very kind, generous couple with the cutest dogs, would definitely recommend this sit as offers plenty of free time to explore the area. Would definitely sit for them again,

SHARON (Apr 2022 - 5 days)
Had a wonderful time in Glasgow looking after Hamish and Andy. Great communication with Natasha, lovely house in a very central location for the city. The dogs were adorable, will miss them x

CORINNE (Jul 2023 - 1 week 3 nights)
No rating Tasha & Donald are genuinely friendly, easygoing homeowners who are quick to respond to communications. Their Scottish Terriers Hamish & Andy are truly adorable. Inseparable brothers and companions, they're pretty easy-care, apart from being overly excited when on leash together (they're used to being walked separately by two people). The home is very close to railway and bus routes, and is quite close to the centre of Glasgow—easy to get around if you're visiting without your own ... MORE
JUDE (Jul 2022 - 5 days)
Thanks Jude, we appreciate your feedback and wish you all the best on the remainder of your travels around Scotland. Thanks for taking great care of our boys.
