Looking for a sitter who will enjoy our local area on the outskirts of the Lake District and close to the coast. We have a large detached house with secure back garden and plenty of parking

A sitter will need a car due to the rural nature of our location. While we are in a village with a shop, pub, restaurant and takeaway, bus routes are limited and own transport will be necessary for things like grocery shopping.

We have a 3 year old 11kg pomsky female. She is great with older children and adults, but can jump up so she needs a confident and firm sitter.

She was run over by a car 18 months ago, she favours a paw and needs to be walked according to how well its doing on the day. Some days she can be on a 10 mile fell walk, other days she will not walk on it properly and will need to be rested. (Fell walking not a compulsory requirement, just an illustration of the range of her activities)

She doesn't like other dogs, so always on lead with a reassuring and competent human the other end.

We also have 3 cats ranging from 1 year to 6 years old. They just like the odd scratch, a food bowl topped up and a litter tray emptied.

We have 2 teenage daughters so rooms are on the girlier side but not ott.

Our parents live locally so would be happy to take the dog if you were going to be out all day without her, but it would be a little much for them to have her for 3 weeks and the cats get lonely.
