We need a house sitter

North East - Northumberland

Marion

We need a housesitter to look after our pets while we are away on holiday. We have a 5 year-old springador (cross springer spaniel and lab), and 3 cats. We live in Cramlington, Northumberland, on the edge of the Northumberland national Park. This is a region of exceeding beauty and history, with castles and beautiful coastline. We are about 12 miles from the bustling city of Newcastle and 4 miles form the nearest beach.
Our house is in a quiet residential area, with plenty of green spaces nearby and some lovely walks. Our dog would need to be walked, but the cats are very independent. The two "girls" are mainly outdoor, but Alfie, who was a rescue cat, prefers indoors for the most part.
We live in a detached 5 bedroomed house in a quiet residential part of Cramlington. There is a secure back garden for the dog to play in, or for you to relax. We have a greenhouse that would need to be watered and some houseplants that would need a bit of care.
The town has a very good shopping centre with 3 supermarkets and a variety of other shops.

Marion and Dave are very friendly and accommodating hosts. The communication was excellent from the onset. Max is a gorgeous Border Collie who takes care of his 'flock'. He is extremely intelligent and is a big softie. He loves lower back scratches and being fussed. Honey is a sweet girl who is a bit shy at first. She loves a treat, playing catch and snuggles with her plushie. The cats are independent and enjoy laying on window sills and the sofa. Food is their love language. The house ... MORE

Absolutely loved my sit with Marion and Dave. It was my first ever sit and what a great start it was. I loved spending time with their fur babies. Each had their own unique character that I enjoyed getting to know over the time we spent together. Marion and Dave were generous and considerate hosts and made sure I had everything I need before heading off. Thank you for having me in your home and for trusting me with your precious fur babies!

Marion and Dave have a lovely big pet family of 3 cats and 3 dogs. While this might sound like a handful they are really well behaved and all get along with each other. They both made me feel immediately welcomed as they introduced me to the gang. The youngest dog Honey was a little unsure at first as she hadn't had many visitors before, but she soon warmed up and became a bundle of fun along with the other 2, Max and Rosie.
