We need a house sitter

South East - Berkshire

Claudia

Looking for someone to care for and walk (off lead) our two black labs, mother and daughter. Feed our 3 chickens, 2 Guinea pigs and 1 fish. Large, light, comfortable detached house with big garden on the outskirts of Kintbury with gated private driveway. Village has 2 pubs, shop, bakery, canal, train station. 7 minutes from Hungerford and 15 to Newbury.

Wonderful sit!Home spacious and comfortable with a lovely garden. We saw nuthatch, caffinch, woodpecker, blue tits, and pheasants .The dogs were calm, very friendly and obedient. They never pulled on their leads and always came back when called when we were out in the countryside. In fact they would often run ahead and then wait patiently for us to catch them up. They never tried to jump up on us or the sofa but when we encouraged them they were happy to do so, so that we could all cuddle up ... MORE

Truly amazing from the outset. Initial advert drew my attention and straight away I knew that this was perfect for me as it reminded me of my childhood home abroad with a yard full of animals. I made contact and everything was dealt with remotely from start to finish. When I arrived I was greeted by the two most amazing labradors and I knew my stay was going to be great. We had a wonderful time sitting for Claudia and family in their beautiful home for 2 weeks. Communication was clear throughout and Claudia provided lots of information and maps the local area which was great. There are super accessible walks on the doorstep and lovely local pubs along with a local shop and easy access to Hungerford and Newbury.
