I’m going to The Netherlands for 4 weeks this summer and unfortunately the plans I had for someone to care for my beautiful cats has fallen through.
I live in Wavertree, Liverpool, which is a 6 minute train or a 15 min bus to the city centre. It’s a great location for exploring the city.
I live in a 3 bed terraced house. 1 large main bedroom, a spare bedroom with double sofa bed and gym equipment (including treadmill), and a small office room with standing/sitting adjustable desk and extra screen for any house sitters that work from home.
My 2 cats are 5 year old brothers. They’re playful and really enjoy human company, both for cuddles and for throwing toys around for them. They’re not overly needy but do like to sit on a cushion next to you when you’re watching tv etc. They like to know you’re there.
I have a small yard with potted plants and, 2 reclining chairs and with a small table and chairs. No yard care needed apart from maybe a water of the pot plants once a week if we get a hot summer.
The cats are quite self sufficient so you’d be able to leave them for 12 hours as long as you leave enough food out for them. I also have family close by so if you’re a house sitter who would like to explore the north of England then I do have family who can drop in and look after the cats if you want to spend a night or two away.
My family normally call in on the cats when I spend a night or 2 away but with being away for so long this time I’d like someone who can give them the day to day love and the cuddles they need.
