Welshpool Wales

We live in a detached house down a very quiet lane, near the small busy town of Welshpool. We have the canal and a nature reserve on our doorstep. There are lots of things to do in the area, depending on your interests. There are at least 3 national trust homes/castles to visit.The historic town of Shrewsbury is approx 12 miles away, which has many points of interest, Oswestry is approx 10 miles, with Llangollen and Wrexham approx 25 miles I would like someone to spend time at my home caring for my 2 dogs. 1 is a 7 years old bearded collie cross who spends most of his time outside.The other dog is a friendly, bouncy 1 year old, who is up for walks and meeting people and other dogs, she is obsessed with ball play.. We have a cat called Minnie who is 18 yrs and a bit deranged with old age, just needs feeding and cat litter emptying as she spends most of her time sleeping somewhere in the house! We have 3 geese (friendly) Approx 20 Chickens, and 1 peacock that will need letting out in the morning,feeding and then shut in at night. We also have a cockatiel named Ozzie, who needs human attention, he loves to sing and can talk a little.
My animals are the priority.
We do have a large garden/allotment- I am happy for you to do as much or as little as you would like, (although watering is essential if needed).
I am preferably looking for someone who is happy to spend time at home with our old dog keeping her company and in our garden.
We have older children who live in a self contained flat above our carport- they will be here some of the time, however they work at the hospital as a trainee nurse so will be out for vast parts of the day- they will be able to answer any questions or concerns when about and will be happy to help should you need them.
