My name is Nicky,
My background is in administration, secretarial and tourism work. I recently resigned a 16 year role with the Ministry of Justice, in Auckland, New Zealand to complete Te Araroa trail, the long 3000 km walk through New Zealand.
On completion of that I have been House and Pet sitting in New Zealand for 10 months and now continue my house-sitting journey in the UK.
As an experienced house-sitter, have looked after small, medium and large dogs, rescue dogs, cats, given medication, walks twice daily, take videos of your animals to send to owners and general grooming.
As a home-owner and having kept a rental property for many years, am very aware of the need to keep a home and grounds tidy and alert owner to any issues arising. Experienced gardener and happy to mow lawns.
Have been able to link over my references from my time house-sitting in New Zealand, but happy to provide references.
I'm a non-smoker, have a driver's license and like to keep fit.

p.s My only available dates now are from 2 september for around two-3 weeks negotiable before I return to New Zealand for the summer. Preference for animal sit in greater London, Wiltshire, south England or the Lakes Disrict.
Nicola was a great pet sitter. She looked after our 2 cats and they seemed really happy in her company which is important for us. She communicated well and was easy to deal with. The house was left in a really clean state when we returned.

Nicky's responsibilities included moving stock, a cat, chicks in a lawn coop and watering an extensive garden. She did admirably on all fronts. She showed attention to detail and diligence. She kept us informed and updated and left our home spic and span. We even had baking and a salad on our arrival home from our 30 hour flight. We have no hesitation in recommending Nicky.

Every step of the way you made us feel so comfortable and keeping us up to date with her progress meant that I could actually relax on our holiday. You took beautiful care of Mum's home, immaculate. We were so very grateful for Nicola’s care of our home, vehicle and most importantly our 12-year-old dog Abbey for 4 weeks whilst we were abroad. During her sit Nicola maintained excellent communication, with regular photos and updates. We would highly recommend Nicola to anyone requiring a completely trustworthy and caring house sitter.

Nicky is amazing. My cats are a bit standoffish but they clearly related well to Nicky to the extent that they ignored me when I arrived back after 4 weeks & went to her. Nicola looked after my rural property and cat for a period of 4 weeks. She is a reliable, trustworthy, caring and attentive house sitter who kept me regularly updated and took great care of the cat and property, including doing some weeding and lawn mowing.
