Hi! I'm Joanne. I'm embarking on a journey of learning my family roots. After the death of my father I realized my small family was MUCH bigger than I ever knew. In 2019 I started my journey in the UK, found and met my family. I've since been back 3 times. In 2022 I was able to obtain my British Citizenship and now carry a British Passport. Seriously.... I love it THAT much!
This year, sadly my 6 year relationship with my partner came to an end. However at the urging of my former partner and my adult daughter, they have convinced me to take some time to myself and really fulfill my passions; Family, travel, history, genealogy. So here I am... but its rather scary to make such big life changes, so I thought, what could ease my fears? CATS, dogs and making new friends.
