I enjoy the reciprocal nature of house sitting. As a single person, it can be a nice way to spend quality time in a particular place; whilst enabling home owners to go away with the peace of mind that someone is looking after their property and or pets.
I've been a house and pet sitter since 2013, so have plenty of experience.
I offer a calm, practical approach and am reliable and conscientious. An awareness that staying in someone else's home is a privilege, so looking after that and any pets as if they were my own is a priority.
I really enjoy the company of animals and have owned cats and dogs since childhood.
I'm an artist; painting and drawing seascapes, landscapes and mountains. I'm mainly drawn to rural places; but also love the buzz of a creative city, as book shops, museums and gallaries are a particular treat.
