Hello, I am a 66-year-old (young) English woman from Devon. I am travelling the world after selling my house in Spain and everything in it some years ago. I am currently working part-time as an online English and French teacher. I am what is nowadays known as a Digital Nomad.

I have always lived with cats and have also cared for friends' cats over the years. Now that I am on the road, I really miss having cats in my life. In 2017 I decided to join a house-sitting site and indulge my love of travel and cats! I have had the most wonderful experiences and have made so many friends since then!

I used to entrust my own house and cats in Spain to strangers while I visited family in the summer holidays and therefore I know how important the scale of responsibility and trust must be between the home owner and the carer/house minder.

I am extremely clean and neat and will care for your home, in order to indulge the domestic goddess that I am! I can water some outdoor pots and indoor plants but would rather not take full-time care of a garden or water large expanses of garden in the summer. I prefer a flat to a house, preferably near public transport, as I do not drive. I also need a strong wifi connection for my classes.

I have been with another house and pet sitting site for 7 years and have completed over 14 sits, all with 5-star reviews and repeat invitations. These sits have been as far away as Mexico and Thailand, as well as the UK, Malta, Barcelona and Holland! I have cared for up to 4 cats at a time. Some of them required vet care, some were on medication. Some were indoor cats and some outdoor. If your cat uses a litter tray, please rest assured it will always be pristine! I will keep your cat(s) entertained with play and cuddle them as much as they want!

I have been called "The Mary Poppins of Cats" by one of the cat owners and by my friends!!

"Deborah was the first cat-sitter I have ever used from this site. If she is a typical example of the services offered I am sold! She bonded with my two cats immediately. Even Ginger, who is normally standoffish and often won't even let me near him, was seeking her out for more cuddles. Mandu, my second cat, has a kidney infection and had to be given medicine twice a day. Deborah took that on without hesitation. I came home to find both cats happy and well. My home was exactly the way I left it.
