50s, Semi retired

Hi, I'm an experienced house sitter, who really wants to travel around more of the UK and experience some new locations in 2024. I'm reliable, independent, used to managing small projects so really organised, proactive and excited about new opportunities. I love visiting towns and cities having been born and raised in Norwich, but am equally at home in a rural environment as I currently live in a small village. I've just returned to house sitting after a few years working full-time but now semi-retired and looking to resume this lovely hobby!

Expenses. As fuel costs are continually rising, I do ask for a contribution towards my travel expenses of £25 per booking.

Previous Housesits have included:
Scotland, taking care of two cats (one requiring medication) whilst their owner was on holiday - making sure she came home to a tidy home, watered plants, tended garden, and happy cats.
Welwyn, Herts, taking care of a small flock of chickens, cats and fish, and the owners Listed Farmhouse.
York, taking care of two cats (one elderly & deaf), in their family's city centre flat.
North Norfolk, taking care of their dog, an irish wolfhound, and fluffy cat in their traditional farmhouse setting with Aga.

I am a keen gardener with my own greenhouse, flower cutting garden and and veg plot, so very happy to keep an eye on the outside as well as the inside of your home!

I had never used housesitters before and was quite anxious, but Paula was wonderful. We entrusted her with our new rescue dog who she looked after, walked and sent regular reports and pictures. She left the house immaculate and watered all our pots. She was 100% reliable and a very nice person. Our holiday was greatly enhanced by having her care for our dog and house.

NICKY (Guildford England, May 2024 - 6 nights)
No rating Paula was a fabulous house guest. She had the job of looking after our hens, cats and fish. They were all happy when we returned and our pots in the garden looked really good. She looked after them and the house better than I do! I wholly recommend Paula as it as like having a magic fairy to stay.
