Pet Sitter Ben

Ben: 42, Teacher/Online Tutor

I'm a teacher and tutor in my 40s who loves cats (also dogs, but cats are the best!).

I've been house sitting in New Zealand over the winter and have loved having pets in my life, unfortunately my place in Bristol (which I own) isn't suitable for a furry friend, so I'm hoping to do some short term sits in and around the southwest to give me the opportunity to spend time with some pets and also to get a bit of a change of scenery.

I work from home Monday-Thursday (online tuition) so I need a good internet connection and a place to work, otherwise I'm pretty flexible and will be in a lot of the time.

I have a partner who loves dogs, so sometimes she will be with me and we'll take on sits with dogs.

Ben is a fabulous house and more importantly pet sitter! From the first phone call I felt confident that I was leaving everything in safe hands. He arrived in good time, made friends with Florence (my timid cat) and got to know the chickens. Whilst I was away I had regular updates and an audio message from Florence. My home was all clean and tidy when I got home. I would have no hesitation in leaving my home and pets with Ben again.

Ben was an awesome house sitter and took great care of our two puss cats. He provided good communication while we were away and left the house tidy and clean. He followed up afterwards to check that everything was OK and we would definitely like to have him house sit for us again.
