We need a house sitter

East Midlands - Nottinghamshire

Cath

Hello - we're Cath & Richard. Could you help look after our chicken while we are away? We have a large 3/4 bedroom detached house in a semi-rural setting just South of Nottingham with lovely garden and terrace, overlooking a golf course. Plenty of off-road parking. 1km stroll to local village with postoffice, pubs, shops and cafes and a wonderful country park. Buses go to Nottingham and the village from near the house, and the tram stop to Nottingham centre (station, shops, museums, theatres etc) is 15 min walk with a frequent service so you can be in town within 30 mins door to door for your culture fix.
After keeping a larger flock we now just have one chicken who lives in a coop next to the house. She will need fresh water and food each day, plus a bit of attention if you have time. Free eggs if she is laying! Please ask if there's anything else you need to know :-)

This was a great housesit. Blossom the chicken is a great character and friendly and easy to look after. The house and locale is well appointed and quite lovely. Cath and Richard were easy to communicate with and provided all I needed to care for their house and pet.

Cath & Richard were lovely people that made us feel so welcome. They had great communication and provided us with a very handy run sheet of the house. Blossom was easy going and we enjoyed looking after her. We would happily return and house sit for Cath & Richard again.
