We need a house sitter

South West - Cornwall

Our home is a beautiful log cabin build mobile home within a 2 acre yard and holding. The wider holding includes several caravan plots with long-term residents. We have Paddy. the cat to feed and Bella an 8yr old basset hound in residence. We have some house plants to water. There is a field next door for short dog walks (if sheep or cattle are not there !), however we are fairly remote and you will need a car for further afield explorations and shopping. Beaches are just 10-20 min away.

Mark and Sarah's cabin is in a rural location close to small town of Camelford in the lovely North Devon countryside. Bella and their cat Paddy were a pleasure to look after and they were extremely hospitable. Having your own transport if essential, but there are lots of walks and seas ide villages close-by.

My time with Bella was such a pleasure! She is the sweetest soul and a wonderful companion - she came everywhere with me and spread her joy to those we met on the way. She loves to be near you and snuggle up, as well as go out on adventures! A very communicative pooch. I miss her a lot! Paddy the cat was happy to see me for a cuddle every now and then but was mostly off exploring, and the chickens soon got used to me feeding them every day. Mel was fabulous in looking after Bella and proved very flexible in adapting her availability to our ever changing arrangements ! She clearly took great care within our home as well. It was a huge relief working away from home in the knowledge that everything was in such capable hands.
