Burley in Wharfedale England

We went in January to meet the family before our sit in April. We were made very welcome and even had lunch, homemade soup, with them. Due to unforeseen circumstances we were not required to housesit. As I’m quite new to this site I didn’t realise we had to cancel on the website. We had great communication and would love to help at some time in the future.

Alfie was just adorable a joy to look after. The house was lovely and in an great area surrounded by beautiful countryside and lots of shops nearby. The garden was a real gem. Lovely to sit out in. Helen & Paul were lovely people and we kept in touch throughout the sit. We would definitely recommend to any future house sitters.

From the beginning we got on like old friends. Nothing was too much for Helen and Harry to ensure we would be truly "at home" I was welcomed the day before their departure so that we were well "bedded in", Elizabeth being obliged to arrive later. Alfie is a loving, lovely old dog to whom, as his owners, we were loathe to say goodbye. All in all just like visiting family. Highly recommended. The house is in a smashing spot, with walks galore, sights to see, old Yorkshire still clearly evident.
