Hello!

We're looking for somebody to take care of our lovely cat, Scruff, whilst we're visiting family.

Scruff is the sweetest boy but as an ex-stray we took in 4 years ago can still be a little bit timid so we'd be looking for somebody who can recognise when he would like his own space. He will need his biscuits topped up, water changed and litter tray poop-scooped but is overall a very low maintenance boy!

We have a three bedroom house in Gorebridge, a village approximately 10 miles south of Edinburgh. We are a short walk from the train station which will take you to the city centre in 25 minutes, local bus stops that will allow you to explore Midlothian and private parking. We have a good WiFi connection and a small TV with access to Netflix/catch up channels.

We had a wonderful stay with Scruff. Ella and Rob were very accommodating to us and made us feel at home. Gave us all the information required about the area, it is a quiet town but easy to access other surrounding areas via the bus down the road or the train. The house has everything you need and was warm and inviting. Ella was very good with communication and helped us with anything we needed. I couldn't have asked for a better pet sit! Ella and Rob were so lovely in welcoming me in to their home! Ella was great with communication, if I ever had any questions she was super quick to reply. They have a lovely warm and super tidy home, so I was super comfortable the whole stay. As for little Scruff, what a cutie he is!! I had such a wonderful time looking after Scruffy. He's a total sweetheart, quite shy at first, but once he warms up to you he's lovely. Ella and family left lots of clear instructions. The house is wonderful and quiet, and the area has some great walks. Ella and Rob were really kind and lovely, wonderful people to meet. Highly recommended xxx

No rating Charlie and Cyril are cute as cockatiels and are super easy to look after. The house is really nice, warm and comfortable with everything you could want. Easy to the bus stop into the city. Rob and Ella are super nice and exceedingly generous. They want you to be as happy and comfortable as their birds and they succeed. I would certainly come back if needed. Thanks for everything, guys.
